A native of spain, born to a spanish father and a brazilian mother, alexandra was raised in several countries through europe and latin america, but mainly in caracas, venezuela where she grew up on fresh mangoes and guavas, surrounded by palm trees, city lights and tropical forests.
She studied Graphic Design and Illustration at the Caracas Institute of Design, later specialized on sketching for illustration under the renowned artist Raul Avila in Venezuela and studied Children Editorial at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
A "tree hugger" and nature lover, Alexandra loves all outdoor activities, so you can find her out every weekend either paddle boarding, rock climbing or scuba diving with her family in Southern California, where she has lived for the last 20 years.
She have been working as a freelance illustrator and storyboard artist with different Publishers and Advertising Agencies from Spain as well as Latin America and USA for the last 30 years. Ale is passionate about illustrating fun, inspirational projects.
